Pinocchio viewed the whole world wrong

No plight coincides with existing as a doll

For they put people at ease 

Make them smile 

Make them gleam 

And dolls receive love at least temporarily

Though accent on temporarily since when you find no use for me

You'll kick me to the streets 

Leave me begging on my knees

'Cause to me you help me more than air to breathe

But to you I am simply stress relief

Yet my heart can never fully give you up

My feet fail to stray away when it becomes too much

As every word you utter binds me

I cannot leave 

And I long ago lost my sense of the word free

So I'll allow you to stick each pin in my cloth skin

While my mind focuses on the fact that I at least caught your attention

I know the truth, so never play coy because

Despite knowing your intentions I'll happily convert into your toy

Though this remains far from healthy
